WHAT WE LEARNT FROM KING KYLIE

So, I know Kylie Jenner might not be your average role model, I get it. But admit it, the Kardashian/Jenner clan has be around for over a decade now, and it seems as though they are here to stay. Kim Kardashian has taught us many things over the years when it comes to be your own boss/entrepreneurship. She might not be the one you will refer to when it comes to woman empowerment or anything that involves business. But let me tell you it should. The girl clearly knows what she’s doing, she turns everything into opportunities to make profit. That ugly crying face? It’s buzzing on her KIMOJI app. Everything in life is an opportunity for her. But today I don’t want to focus on Kim K. I want to focus on the youngest of the clan, the girl that is buzzing all around the globe by doing what people call nothing. Today I’m focusing on King Kylie Jenner.

She just turned 19 yesterday, but the girl has already an empire built. She has millions of followers on Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. Every single time her lip kits are restocked they are sold out in 30minutes. So what can we learn about this soon to be adult (because to me being an adult starts when you don’t have a “1” as the first number of your age)? Let me tell you.

1. YOUR AGE DOESN’T MATTER

King Kylie was only 18 when she launched her lip kits. She just did it. Even though people said she was too young to do so, or whatever, the girl just said “f*ck off” I’ll do it. Same with her house, she was 17 when she bought it. She knew she was ready. And that’s the point, if you know you’re ready to do something, your age shouldn’t be an obstacle to your path. Whether you’re 18 or 65, if you know you want to do something, what age you are shouldn’t matter. You’re never too young to build and empire.

2. IF LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS MAKE LEMONADE

That one, is pretty much the idea behind her lip kits. She has lip fillers, we all know. But at first, before getting those injections, she used to over line her lips to create the illusion of a bigger pout. Therefore, to please her big fan community, she created the lip kits so her fans could create that pout themselves at home without the fillers. First it was only Mattes then it was the Glosses then the Metals and now the Kyshadows. But we cannot forget about the Kylie Couture Hair Extensions, that were the same color as her hair back then. Her fans want to recreate the makeup looks, the hair, so she gives them the opportunity.

3. MAKING FUN OF YOURSELF ISN’T BAD

Kylie has been made fun of, still is. Whether it’s because of her lips, Tyga, her feud with Blac Chyna, her family and the list goes on and on. The Kardashian/Jenner are probably some of the people that receive most hate over the internet, and as a matter of fact IRL (Kris and Kim got booed while walking). But she turned the situation around. That I’m-having-an-orgasm-face well, she made it a phone case, it is actually on the KIMOJI app. She actually retweets or reposts pictures of her that are not the best. Pictures that people make fun of.

4. BE STRONG, LIFE ISN’T EASY FOR ANYONE BUT IT DOES GET BETTER IN THE END

I know, I know : what? When you’re a millionaire since the day you were born how can life be hard? Well, there are some people that never liked the spotlight and King K is one of them. She never hid her non-willingness to be famous. She suffers from that, she suffers from the hate she gets and mostly she suffers from the fact that she was never a normal teenager. Every single time she wanted to hang out with friends, there was always a camera following her everywhere. And well, that wasn’t her choice, that choice was her mother’s/Kim’s. Not only that, but she also had to go through her father’s transition. And that’s not easy for ANYONE. Yet she kept her held high, and went through every single one of those obstacles and look at her empire now. She literally built that empire in one year and half. Life gets better.

That was my opinion on that matter, feel free to leave me yours on the comment.

Till next time,

Evie.
